Marsh Wren in the YBWA

The Marsh Wren lives in the freshwater marsh of the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area. It is a feisty little bird, full of attitude and song. In the spring, the males build many nests and defend their territory by singing. Learn about these very small, insect eating birds and how they build and camouflage their nests among the tule and cattail plants.
