To hear insects walking on the ground.

It produces an odor from glands on it’s face.
In what habitat does the pallid bat live?
Grasslands and Deserts.
Why do bats hang upside down?
1. Toes are hooked to cling so it can completely relax – conservation of energy
2. Puts the bat in position to drop to fly, which is more efficient than dropping to fly
3. They can still see and echolocate, which they wouldn’t be able to do if they were head up in a crevice.
